Hello, my name is Julia Pong and I am a childcare specialist. After receiving my teaching certificate, I found my passion in being a nanny specializing in twin and triplet newborns and toddlers. Once my husband and I had our own child in August 2015, I was able to further my dream of starting a small licensed in-home daycare with a few other children the same age as our daughter.  Our daycare grew with the birth of our second child and his cohort of friends joining the daycare.

The Cheerful Beginnings company further expanded to include parent consulting, sharing what I've learned from my education and experience with parents to set their families up for success.  I created this site to give prospective clients an idea of what Cheerful Beginnings can offer you as well as who I am and what I believe.  

 

I am highly educated in the field of psychology and education and choose to be a childcare provider and parent consultant because I know that I can make an important difference in setting children off on the right foot in life. I firmly believe in purposeful play. Everything that I say and do with children is to set them up for success.
